Robert Edward Guess, 69 years old of Gaston, South Carolina died on October 8, 2024.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1954 to Hilda McCuiston Guess and Henry Lamar Guess and was always a very kind and giving person.
Bob attended Hendersonville High School, was great at every sport he played and loved watching football. After high school, Bob attended Middle Tennessee State University, worked at UPS and then Electrostatic Onsite Services before moving to South Carolina where, after retiring from Hackney Grocery, he worked for W.P. Rawl's out of Pelion, South Carolina.
Bob, 'Dad,' is preceded in death by his parents, Hilda Lee (McCuiston) Guess, and Henry 'Hank' Lamar Guess, and is survived by his best friend, Tracy 'Mom' Lynn Brown Guess of Gaston, South Carolina, his sons, Troy Justin 'TJ' Guess (35), Tymothy Cromer (32) and Eric Guess (29), his sisters, Julie James (Monte), Laura (Hamel) Guess, Alicia Frye (John), his brother, Richard Guess (Pam), his nephews, Christopher, Stephen 'Steve', Bruce, Tommy, David, Jeffrey, his nieces, Wendy, Tiffany, Lynsay, his great nephews, Brady, Preston and his great niece, Kinsley.
Bob will live in the hearts of all those who loved him. We will all miss him but we know that Bob is now in Heaven with Jesus Christ, his Savior and we will see him again on those streets of gold. Praise be to God.
