- Patsy J. Bennett, 81, Greentown, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Sunday July 26, 2015 at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born Miami County Indiana to Jesse E. and Emma (Myers) Bowland. On March 9, 1951 she married Lora E. Bennett who preceded her in death on April 23, 2003.
Pasty was a homemaker who enjoyed hobbies, crafts, auctions, and loved going to Jerome Christian church where she was a member.
She is survived by children, Deborah (Dale) Fitzgerald, Beverly Hills, Florida, Rick (Betty) Bennett, Spring Grove, Illinois, and Scott Bennett, Joliet, Illinois; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;sisters, Mary Fisher, Sweetser, Virginia Rohrer, Marion, Betty Hodson, Kokomo, Alice Hodson, Amboy, and Waneta (Danny) Levensky, Amboy; brothers, Russsell (Ruth) Bowland, Amboy, Jim (Sharon) Bowland, Converse, Raymond (Thelma) Bowland, Greentown, and Eugene (Mary) Bowland, Amboy; and sisters-in-law, Loretta Easley, McComb, Mississippi and Lorena (Chet) Hendricks, Greentown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lora Bennett; sisters, Carol Bowland, Dorothy Rose, Ann Roseberry and Violet Lowe; and brothers, Woodrow Bowland and Wayne Bowland.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Jerome Christian Church, 9535 E 100 S, Greentown, with David Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 East Main Street, Greentown. Memorial Contributions may be made to Jerome Christian Church.
