      Mrs. Patricia Christine McCuiston, age 73, of New Concord, Kentucky, died on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

      Mrs. McCuiston was born on August 19, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee. Before her retirement she was the owner and operator of Bob’s Corner Store in New Concord, Kentucky. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

      Mrs. McCuiston was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy McCuiston, Sr.; and by one brother, Johnnie Biffle.

      Mrs. McCuiston is survived by two sons, Keith Williams and wife Tracy of Murray, Kentucky and Billy McCuiston, Jr. and wife Crystal of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Tommy Ramey of Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Austin Williams, Cole Williams, Tayten Williams, Mackenzie Williams, Briar McCuiston, Chloe McCuiston, and Jakob Rogers and wife Alex; as well as one great – grandchild, Bryce Williams.

      A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Sammy Cunningham will officiate, and burial will follow in the McCuiston Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

      Mrs. Martha Nell McCuiston , 87, of Murray, KY died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 1:50 a.m. at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray. Mrs. McCuiston was born in Henry Co., TN on December 11, 1923 to the late Galen Hopper and Dewey Orr Hopper. Mrs. McCuiston retired from the Dietary Department of the Murray – Calloway Co. Hospital after 17 years of service. Mrs. McCuiston was a member of the New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

      In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCuiston was preceded in death by her husband, William R. McCuiston; one son, Jackie P. McCuiston; two grandchildren, Clayton W. McCuiston and Amanda Vasquez Lewis; one sister, Lucille Stringer; and by five brothers, Buck Hopper, Doyle Hopper, Herman Hopper, Gerald Hopper and Kenneth Hopper.

      Mrs. McCuiston is survived by two daughters, Sharon K. Townsend and special friend Miguel Saez of Cadiz, KY and Vickie K. McCuiston of Murray; one son, Billy G. McCuiston and wife Patty of New Concord, KY; as well as six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great - great grandson.

      Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Darvin Stom officiating. Burial to follow in the McCuiston Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the funeral home.

      Mr. Billy G. McCuiston, age 76, of New Concord, Kentucky, died Thursday, March 12, 2020, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
      Mr. McCuiston was born in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late William R. “Bill” McCuiston and Martha Nell (Hopper) McCuiston. Mr. McCuiston before retiring worked at Tappan and Southern States Co-Op in Murray and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
      In addition to his parents, Mr. McCuiston was preceded in death by one son, Clayton McCuiston; one sister, Sharon McCuiston Saiez; and by one brother, Jackie McCuiston.
      Mr. McCuiston is survived is survived by his wife Patricia “Patti” McCuiston of New Concord, Kentucky; three sons, Billy McCuiston, Jr. and wife Crystal of New Concord, Kentucky, Keith Williams and wife Tracy Murray, Kentucky and James Edward “Eddie” McCuiston of California; one sister, Vickie McCuiston of Murray, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Austin Williams, Mackenzie Williams, Cole Williams, Tayten Williams, Jakob Rogers, Chloe McCuiston, and Briar McCuiston.
      The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Sammy Cunningham and Rev. Jim Stahler will officiate, and burial will follow in the McCuiston Cemetery.
      Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
