sons: William b 1753 d Oct 1797 (My line seems to descend from this William)
Andrew (1 Hugh) 1763-d 19 Nov 1830 both had land grants in SC: Rebecca Ann McQuiston seems to come from this line.
William McQuiston (1 Hugh) 1753-16 Aug 1829 married Mary Ann Murdock (1756-9 Jun 1829))he was born in County Antrim, Ireland, immigrated to SC, was possibly first bench of elders in the Hopewell Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Chester, SC

Hugh Bryson McQuiston (8 William J) 8 Oct 1853 in Tipton County, Tennessee died 31 Dec 1928. He was an undertaker and an elder in the Salem ARP Church. Married Mary Leannah Faulkner 27 Dec 1860-22 Oct 1941 He was my great grandfather.
