      News Death Notice

      MCCUISTION, Thelma L. age 91, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010 after a courageous health battle; she was a 41 year breast cancer survivor. Thelma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J. S. McCuistion and her sister, Sara Reigelsberger as well as family, friends and loved ones. She is survived by her daughters, Pam "Peaches" McCuistion, Sylvia Aline and son in law, Dave Jenkins; brother, Virgil Adams; grandchildren, Kendra McCuistion and Jason Scott Nelson; great-grandchildren, Leslie, Jared, Leigh, and Kristen Nelson; cherished friends and family members too numerous to mention lest someone be forgotten; dear friends and neighbors, Don Evans, Audrey Dorsten, Carol Woods, Tony and Carol. Thelma was a retired school bus driver for the Dayton Public School System and a longstanding member of the Dayton Baptist Temple. She enjoyed going on trips as a member of the Young at Heart at Washington Heights Baptist Church, square dancing, working in the yard and selling Avon for many years. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 24, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday June 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment at Dayton Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
