Edward McQuistan and Margaret MacAlister were married on 5 December 1843 in Killean and Kilchenzie, Argyll, Scotland.⁴ Margaret MacAlister was born on 19 September 1822 in Scotland.^3,4 She immigrated in 1875 to Rockford, Illinois.⁵ Name moved place date.⁵ She died on 25 January 1909 in Arlington Township, Woodbury County, Iowa.³ Margaret was buried on 29 January 1909 in Odebolt, Sac County, Iowa.³
