    • James C. and his half-brother, Thomas McCuistion, were possibly sons of the Jefferson County, Tennessee, settlers. John Robert, son of Andrew, wrote that his grandfather (Andrew McCuistion [1-388]) and the grandfather of Reverend J. F. McCuistion were brothers and that they married sisters by the name of Rankin.
