Lyndall E. Jordan, 88, of Joplin, MO formerly of Kokomo passed away at 5:03 am on Tuesday, January, 26, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 12, 1927 in Sharpsville to Willis Earl and Rachel (Collier) Jordan. On June 19,.1955 Lyndall married Aldena Dillman and she survives.
Lyndall was a 1945 West Lafayette graduate and a 1953 Purdue University graduate. He served in the Air Force achieving the rank of Sergeant from 1945 to 1949. He worked as a paint engineer for Delco Electronics and retired in 1987. Lyndall was an elder at the Kokomo Church of Christ and later a member of Chapel Christian Church. He was a volunteer at Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN.
Survivors include his wife Aldena Jordan; son Jeffrey (Phyllis) Jordan, Gary Jordan, David (Lisa) Jordan; daughter Dena (Jim) Deweese; seven grandchildren Paul, Phillip, Rachael, Jonathan, David, Marisa, Bethany; four great grandchildren Madelynn, Conner, Emmitt, Giffin.
Lyndall was preceded in death by his mother Rachel Jordan and father Willis Earl Jordan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday February 6th at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory at 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo with Pastor Ben Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery near Sharpsville. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 to 7:00 Friday Feb. 5th at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home. Stout & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
