      MYRTLE – William Danny McCuiston, 73, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at his residence. He was born Feb. 24, 1940, in Duckhill to William Durwood McCuiston and Frances Ingram. He retired as plant manager of Woodcraft. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member Myrtle Methodist Church.
      Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Myrtle Methodist Church. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Greensbourgh Cemetery in Tomnolen. United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
      He is survived by his wife, Mary Carolyn Wise McCuiston; a daughter, Susan McCuiston Green; a son, William Dale McCuiston; a sister, Travie Elizabeth Bowen; a brother, Billy Joe McCuiston; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tim McCuiston; and a daughter, Sharon Renae McCuiston.
      Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will lie in repose on Thursday at Myrtle Methodist Church from 10 a.m. to service time.
      In honor of Mr. McCuiston's service, United Funeral Service will fly the U.S. Army flag during his visitation and service.
