      Jackie Lee "Jackie Mac" McQuiston was born February 19, 1966, in Nashville, TN, and he passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 56.

      He was the son of Wayne Strong and the late Evelyn Strong, and the late Arthur D. McQuiston and Mary Agnes Kirkpatrick. On November 28, 2001, he was married to Elaina McQuiston, who survives. He was the Chief Deputy of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, and worked part time at the Gainesboro Police Department.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Mother: Evelyn Strong; and his siblings.

      Survivors include his Wife: Elaina McQuiston of Cookeville, TN; Sons: Brock Chase McQuiston of Gainesboro, TN, and Clayton Jack McQuiston of Cookeville, TN; his Father: Wayne Strong of Gainesboro, TN; Sisters: Tammy (Joey) Denson of Gainesboro, TN and Pam (Robby) Scantland of Gainesboro, TN; Nieces and Nephews: Josh Denson, Carson Scantland, Ashley Pirl, and Madlyn Scantland; and Siblings: Rhonda Blunkall and Arthur McQuiston, Jr.

      Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services.

      Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.

      Michael Eugene McQuiston, 47, passed away Jan. 11 in Rock Island, Tenn. The family has chosen cremation. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home
      was in charge of arrangements.
      He was born Oct. 20, 1969 in Nashville.
      He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur D. McQuiston Sr. and Mary McQuiston.
      Surviving relatives include two brothers, Arthur D. McQuiston Jr. of Carthage and Jacky McQuiston of Baxter; two sisters, Sandra Hatfield of Carthage and Rhonda Blunkall of Chestnut Mound; one niece, Amanda Rathburn; special cousin, Walter White; three special friends, Bobby D. Wade, Mark Seagraves, and Bobby E. Wade; other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
