Ruby Ilene Gilbert, 93, of Prairie Grove, died Sept. 20, 2015, at Katherine's Place Wedington in Fayetteville.
She was born May 19, 1922, in Hindsville, the daughter of Hobart Robert and Allie Boyd McChristian.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ and the widow of Melvin Junior Gilbert, who preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by: one son, Dean Gilbert; one daughter, Melva Leichner; one brother, George McChristian; and one sister, Orabelle Maggard.
Survivors include: one brother, Bob McChristian of Fayetteville; two sisters, Cleta Leichner of Fayetteville and Faye Robbins of Prairie Grove; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life was held on Sunday, Sept. 27. Arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Gerald Dean Gilbert, 62, of Cameron, OK passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at his home.
He was born January 6, 1951 in Huntsville, AR the son of Melvin Junior and Ruby Ilene McChristian Gilbert.
He was preceded in death by his father, wife, Kathy LaVerne Gilbert and sister, Melva June Leichner.
Gerald Dean is survived by his mother, Ruby I. Gilbert of Hogeye, AR; daughter, Deann Gray and husband, Gary of Fayetteville; 2~grandchildren, Dylan Gray and Anne Eliot Gray both of Fayetteille, AR; 1~great-grandson, Aiden Gray of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Mineral Springs Cemetery in West Fork with Rev. Glen Faulkner

Kathy Laverne Gilbert, 63 of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Willard Walker Hospice Home.
She was born July 8, 1949 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Elmer and Noby Carter Sisemore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Roy Sisemore, Ray Sisemore, Jerry Sisemore and Charles Sisemore; two sisters, Geneva Smith and Christle Fritch.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Dean Gilbert of the home; daughter, Deann and Gary Grayof Fayetteville; brother, Norman Sisemore and wife Becky of Prairie Grove; three sisters, Rita Dunn of Fayetteville, Glenda Test of Farmington and Bonita Sanders and husband Bob of Wesley; two grandchildren, Dylan Gray and Anne Eliot Gray both of Fayetteville; great grandson, Aiden Gray of Fayetteville and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 25, 2013 with Pastor Glen Faulkner officiating.
Burial will be at Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel
