      Hi David and Gloria-

Many years ago "Hot city" was my email address til they skipped town with 6 months dues I had
      paid in advance.Yuck!
By the time I got back to using the McQuisten web, they were reallly organized and had a new
web page with a password which I had never accqired. Soon our pedigree grew and grew and we
had gone on to other family names. I have not visited the site for a long time.

My Dau. Chris is the really active one and mostly interested in adding many new silver bars to
her DAR sash so she leaves the brick walls to me to work on. She is a DAR official and spends
much time digging for our lines as well as other members of her chapter when she is not at work
as a RN in the local hospital.

Our line joins the McQuiston line as follows: See our Public Tree on ancestry.com ----
      JONES/COOK/SHORB/ROUCH

1-My grandparents on my father's side were Samuel Jefferson JONES b.1854 Iowa & Lillian
      Viola COOK b. CA, >

2-Rudolph D. COOK, b Ohio and Jenetta Lillian NELSON b. 1838 NC (dau of John Endsley
      NELSON) b. 1808 NC & Rachel BROOKBANK b.1817 >

      3-James NELSON b. 1782 NC & Alice ENDSLEY b. 1784 NC >

      4-Alexander NELSON b. 1749 VA and Jean (Jane) McQUISTON b. 1756 NC

Voila-- our connection ! We followed the line back to John McQuiston b. 1674 and Isabella
      Crelon b. 1676 in Ireland.
Have a note that John's father was Daniel who 1689 served in Battle of Londonderry, County
      Derry. Ireland

I have MAC updated to Lion and can read both your attachments.

Plans were already made for the dates of the Clan Meeting in TN. Chris is close by in VA. and
might have made it except for plans to be out here in CA. at that time.
