Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Brother Charles Grubb will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Ashley, Missouri. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM Thursday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. Mr. McChristian was born July 1, 1931, in Japton, Arkansas to Lester and Pearly McConnell McChristian. He was married to Frances Jamison on January 28, 1961 in Bethalto, Illinois. She survives. Other survivors include 4 children, Catherine Kindle, Fred McChristian, Barbara Lilley (Mike) and Lora White (Leroy), 2 Brothers, Harvel McChristian (Doris) and Charles E. McChristian (Violet), 2 Sisters, Veda Price (Charles) and Retha Potter, 1 Sister in law, Judy McChristian, 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons; Orval Allen McChristian Jr., Charles Terry Edwards, 3 brothers; Harvey, Floyd and Paul McChristian and 2 sisters; Leta McCormick and Georgia Barker. Mr. McChristian retired from Stark Brothers Nursery after 39 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on machinery and gardening. Mr. McChristian was a member of Hunnewell Mission Baptist Church in Hunnewell, Missouri.
