      Evelyn Rey McChristian, 72, of Mulberry died Saturday, June 2, 2001.
      She was a retired LPN after 15 years with Sparks Regional Medical Center.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow McChristian.
      Survivors include two daughters, Susan McAuliffe of Glendora, Calif., and Anita Harrod of Hampton; three sons, Dr. Paul McChristian of Conway, Dr. Jimmy McChristian of Rogers; and Randall McChristian of Maumelle; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
      Funeral service was held June 6 at Edwards Van–Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
      Pallbearers were Douglas Stephens, Hans Hoewt, John Hunter, Calvin Teague, Russ Workman and James David Hoyle.
