      Hello,
My name is Marjorie Anne McCuiston- Hurd. William Giles McCuiston was my grandfather. He was married to Carrie Saint Clair Hodges McCuiston. Both were from Kentucky. They had four children, the oldest Wilsie Gibson McCuiston, who was my father. He is often listed as Jr. but was not, just same initials. Other children were Grenola McCuiston- Bullocks, Barnes McCuiston and the youngest, Geneva Henry McCuiston. Another child was born in Vernon, Okla. William Curry McCuiston but died as an infant and is not listed anywhere. They relocated from Kentucky to Vernon, Ok to farm.

My dad had two daughters, Grenola, married, had one daughter who died in 1964 or 65, Barnes married , no children, Geneva, never married, no children.
My sister and I are the only ones left from Giles and Carrie.

Donald Everett Reeves was a foster child that came to work on my grandfathers farm, in Vernon, Okla. I knew of him but had very little contact. He relocated to New Mexico and I believe later found some members of his family, a sister, last name Lindsey.

Carrie McCuiston died in 1936 and is buried in New Friendship Cemetery, Silver City, Creek County Okla. William Giles remarried and died in 1943 and is buried in Porter, Ok.
