Vernor R. Breithaupt, 92, died at 2:35 p.m. April 28, 2000 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Graveside services will be held at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney with Rev. David A. McNabb officiating. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Breithaupt was born July 17, 1907 in Powell, Texas, the son of Clarence and Myrtle (McCuiston) Breithaupt.
He married Daisy Mays, May 13, 1927 in Mexia, Texas. She preceded him in death, January 6, 1996. He was Production Department Manager for Unocal and Independent Landman. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Landmans Association.
Mr. Breithaupt is survived by one son, Keith Breithaupt and his wife, Lona of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Karen Weber and her husband, Charles of St. Petersburg, Florida; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
