      Wanda Mae Thomason McCuiston, 80, of Rossville, died on Saturday, July 26, 2014, one day before her 81st birthday.
      She had lived in the Chattanooga area for most of her life and was a former member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church for more than 40 years, but was currently a member of Shield Baptist Church in Chickamauga. She retired in 1987 after more than 28 years of service as a nurse for Dr. J. Harold Starr.
      She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Elizabeth and Betty.
      Survivors include her loving husband of more than 59 years, Fred McCuiston of Rossville; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Elizabeth and (Tim) Kline of Braselton, Ga.; five grandchildren, Emily, Trevyn and Zane Garland and Abby and Ethan Kline and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

      Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, at Shield Baptist Church in Chickamauga with Brother Bill Proctor officiating.
      The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday.
