      Graveside services for Faye Thornton Dugas of Coral Gables, Florida will be at 11:30 am, Saturday at the Old Palestine Cemetery with Father Mark Kusmirek officiating.
      Faye Thornton Dugas, passed away Jan. 18, 2004 in Florida. She was the daughter of George E. and Mary Edna McCuistion Thornton of Alto, Texas and had resided in Florida for over 40 years. She was a member and past president of Coco Plum Woman's Club and a member and past president of the Coral Gables Citizens Crimewatch Board. She was past president of Dade County Federation of Women's Club and a member of its Board of Trustees. She was a member of the University of Miami's Womens Guild. She was named Citizen of the Year in 1992 by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
      Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Franklyn J. Dugas of Coral Gables; and a daughter and son-in-law, Andrea C. and William C. Wolek; and two grandsons, Steven and Christopher Wolek.

      Obituary: Franklyn J. Dugas
      ALTO - Graveside services for Franklyn J. Dugas, 85, Coral Gables, Fla., relative of Alto residents, are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at Old Palestine Cemetery, Alto, under direction of O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home, Alto.
      Mr. Dugas died Aug. 16, 2006, in Miami, Fla.
      He was born March 16, 1921, in Westville, Ill., to Frank E. and Jeanne Vassen Dugas. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and served in the Army during World War II. He was an accountant in the oil business and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He had served as a board member of Coral Gables Crime Watch for more than 15 years and was a member of Coral Gables Lions Club.
      He was preceded in death by wife, Faye Thornton Dugas, and brother, Joseph.
      Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Bill Wolek, grandsons Steven and Christopher Wolek, and sister and brother-in-law Marie and John Babich.
