    • Patricia J. McQuisten 1939- 2021 Patricia "Pat" McQuisten, 82, of Laramie, Wyoming, died March 7, 2021 under the care of hospice at her daughter and son-in-law's residence in Colorado. She was born February 14, 1939 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Boyd and Sadie Herstein. She grew up on a wheat farm east of Wheatland with two siblings, George Herstein and Eilene Hopkins.

      She attended elementary and high school in Wyoming, graduating Valedictorian of Wheatland High School in 1957. On August 30, 1959 she married Richard McQuisten in Wheatland. She lived in several states following her husband in his employment and enjoyed her retirement as she and her husband traveled in Hawaii, Mexico, Europe and Alaska.
      She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Shawn Sullivan; two grandsons, Thomas and Jacob, great grandson Beckett Josiah and a beloved brother-in-law, Marvin Hopkins of Thermopolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, son Michael, a baby daughter, Penny Jo, and her sister and brother.
      Due to covid-19, a service may be held later this year.

      McQuiston, Alan Edward

      Alan Edward McQuiston, 82, died on October 7, 2017, in Southbury, CT, of complications resulting from Parkinson's Disease. He was the husband of Betsy (Potter) McQuiston.
      Mr. McQuiston was born in Mt. Kisco, NY, son of the late Charles and Susanne (Parsons) McQuiston. He was a graduate of The Choate School and Dartmouth College.
      He worked in the direct marketing industry for many years, forming McQuiston Enterprises in 1972 and Prisma Direct Response in 1991. He retired in 1996.
      A resident of Briarcliff Manor, NY, for 32 years (prior to moving to New Durham, NH, and Woodbury, CT) he was active in Little League, served on the PTA and on the Zoning Board of Appeals (1981-1996), and was a trustee of the Briarcliff Congregational Church. He enjoyed most being at his favorite little piece of New Hampshire by Merrymeeting Lake.
      In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Susanne (Mike) Fuller and Sarah (Dan) McPhee, a son, John, and 5 grandchildren: John (Amanda) Brebbia, Patrick, Charlie, Tommy and Brian McPhee; and two step grandchildren: Jeffrey and Erin Fuller. He was predeceased by a son, Alan Edward, Jr. (Ted).
      Calling hours Friday, October 13 from 5-8 pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School Street, Woodbury, CT 06798. Memorial service is being held on Saturday, October 14 at 11:00 am at the United Church of Christ, 283 Main Street North, Southbury, CT 06488.
