      Fort Myers, Fla. - Loren Echelbarger, 47, 7218 Myrtle Road S.E., Fort Myers, Fla., died Saturday morning in Fort Myers Community Hospital, after a short illness.

      Born in Howard County, Mr. Echelbarger was employed at Revco Retailers in Fort Myers.

      Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Morris, Blackburg, Va., and Tammie Echelbarger, Dale City, Va.; a son, Mark, Dale City, Va.; his mother, Mrs. Naomi Echelbarger; and two brothers, Donald, Marion, and John, Greentown.

      Memorial rites will be held Thursday morning in the Greentown Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Paul Boss officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park cemetery, Marion.

      Hasler-Pickett Funeral Home, Greentown, is in charge of arrangements.
