      ANNISTON--Claud Quinto McQuiston, 88, passed away on March 23, 2009. He was born in Crossett, Arkansas, the son of John McQuiston. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the 1st Division of the "Big Red 1" and also serving in the Korean Conflict.
      He is survived by his son, Ricky McQuiston (Suzanne); granddaughter, Katie E. Lipscomb (Dace); grandson, Matt McQuiston and life long companion and best friend, James M. Walker.
      He was preceded in death by his brother, John Hardy McQuiston and sisters, Helen Doyle and Kathleen Smith.
      Graveside services at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2009 at the City Cemetery in Alexander City.
      Radney Funeral Home in Alexander City is in charge.
