  	Gary Lee McQuistion February 13, 1951 ~ April 22, 2024 (age 73) Gary McQuistion Obituary I'm very sad to say that my husband Gary L McQuistion of Smithfield OH passed away suddenly, April 22, 2024 he was 73. He was a Vietnam Combat Veteran with the rank of Sgt and National defense Service Medal, Vietnam service Medal with 2 bronze service stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 devices, combat Infantryman's badge, army commendation medal, and Air Metal. he also was Navy Veteran rank of Chief petty officer 3rd class and stationed to the USS Nemitz. We were married for 40 years. He leaves behind two brothers Wayne (Laura) McQuistion, Dennis McQuistion and four sisters Colleen, Robin, Elaine, and Jenette. Our children are Lloyd McQuistion, Cody McQuistion, 37, Gary's daughter Trudy Jo (McQuistion) Minard and her 4 children. Also our grandchildren, Jayda Starr McQuistion & her son our great grandson Kyan Burk, Calvin Risdon, Camdyn McQuistion, our daughter in law Justine (Barcus) McQuistion. He was preceded in death by our daughter Amber Joy McQuistion, his parents Ralph & Beatrice (Garwood) McQuistion. He also leaves behind many friends and extextened family. Gary requested no viewing or funeral. He will be cremated by Schutz Funeral Home in Mingo Junction OH. He also requested his cremains be taken to Lusk Lock in Elkton OH.

Beatrice Garwood McQuistion Birth: Feb. 23, 1933 Lisbon Columbiana County Ohio, USA Death: Feb. 27, 2016 Columbiana Columbiana County Ohio, USA Columbiana-Beatrice McQuistion, 83, formerly of West Southern Ave. and Windrose Court, passed away at 8:35pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Parkside Health Care Center following a recent illness. Mrs. McQuistion was born February 23, 1933 in Lisbon, a daughter of the late William H. and C. Hazel (Wells) Garwood, and had lived in the local area all of her life. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her husband, Ralph L. McQuistion, Jr., whom she married October 23, 1950, preceded her in death October 26, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Reynolds, Delores Dailey, Mildred Staton, Catherine Lipe, Freda Poma, Clarise Garwood and by her brothers, Olen, Warren, Lester, Ellwood, William, and Seward Garwood. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughters, Robin F. McQuistion of Columbiana, Colleen J. Corley of Abilene, Texas, Elaine J. Stevens of North Bench, Maryland, and Jeanette Sigman of Owing, Maryland; sons, Gary L. McQuistion of Smithfield, Ohio, Dennis A. McQuistion of Lisbon, and Wayne F. McQuistion of Columbiana; 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
