      Jessica McQuiston, age 19, of Mauston, Wisconsin, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, in Mauston following a tragic accident.
      Memorial funeral services will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Sabylund Lutheran Church in Stockholm, Wisconsin, followed by graveside services. Visitation will be held at Sabylund Lutheran Church on Sunday from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m.
      Jessica was born August 19, 1994, in Durand, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Connie (Westerberg) McQuiston. She was a graduate of Marshfield High School and earned an associate degree in health administrative services. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, loved children and being with her family and friends. She also became an aunt on the day before her death.
      Jessica is survived by her parents, John (Kim) McQuiston of Hudson, Wisconsin, and Connie (Jason Arndt) Westerberg of Mauston; a brother, Austin (Kendra) McQuiston of Loyal, Wisconsin; paternal grandparents, Judy Meyers of Nelson, Wisconsin, and Russell Lorenz of Buffalo City, Wisconsin; and maternal grandmother, Rita Preston of Slinger, Wisconsin.
      She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Roger Westerberg.

      UPDATED Monday, June 16, 2014 --- 4:18 p.m.
      Mauston Police have identified the second person killed by a train this past Saturday.
      19-year-old Thomas Kratz Jr. of rural Wisconsin Dells has been positively identified by the State Crime lab. He was killed along with 19-year-old Jessica McQuiston when they were hit by a train.
      Police are investigating this incident as a double suicide.

      UPDATED Monday, June 16, 2014 --- 12:33 p.m.
      Mauston Police have identified one of the two people killed in a fatal train crash Saturday.
      19-year-old Jessica McQuiston of rural Mauston has been positively identified as one person by family members.
      The identify of the other victim will be released by authorities once positive identification is made.
      Police are investigating this incident as a double suicide.

      Authorities in Juneau County say two people were struck and killed by a train in the City of Mauston early Saturday morning.
      Calls first came in around 12 a.m., when Canadian Pacific railroad alerted the Juneau County Sheriff's Office.
      Further investigation on scene revealed that two people were standing on the tracks and were indeed killed.
      Names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of the family, according to a recent news release.
      The incident is being investigated by the Juneau County Sheriff's Office, the Mauston Police Department as well as the Canadian Pacific Police.
