Mr. McCuiston was born in Guilford Co., N.C., the son of the late Josiah Turner McCuiston and the late Mrs. Estelle Jane Clifton McCuiston.
He was retired from Dupont, a Master Mason and Past Master of Woodland Heights Lodge No. 345, Richmond, Va., and was a current member of Black Heath Lodge No. 1988 in Midlothian, Va.
Mr. McCuiston is survived by his wife of 63 years, Meritha C. McCuiston. Besides his wife, Mr. McCuiston is survived by his two daughters, Velma McCuiston of Sarasota, Fla. and Anne M. Price of Chester, Va.; two sons, Daryl McCuiston of Elizabeth City, N.C. and David McCuiston of Wanchese, n.C.; and his nine grandchildren.
A private memorial service was held. The family suggests that memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 5200 Newby’s Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, Va. 23832 or the charity of one’s choice.
