      Mr. Charles Ewell McChristian, 86, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Poor Cemetery near Mozier, IL. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO.
      He was born on October 5, 1934 in Arkansas to Charles L. and Pearlie McConnell McChristian. He was married to Violet Charlton in Bowling Green, MO and she survives.
      He is also survived by 2 sons, Charles Gary (Corrina) McChristian of Lindenhurst, IL and Steven (Sharon) McChristian of Louisiana, MO, 2 grandchildren, Tyler (Theresa) McChristian of Lindenhurst, IL and Jessica McChristian of Pleasant Hill, IL, a great grandson, Jaxon Bequett, and a sister, Veta Price of Louisiana, MO.
      He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, Harvel, Harvey, Allan, Paul, and Floyd, and 4 sisters, Leta McCormick, Georgia Barker, Retha Potter, and Vita McChristian.
      Ewell was employed at Louisiana Manufacturing and worked there many years until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin on the Mississippi River.
      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Donor’s Choice.

      Orval Allen McChristian, 80, of Hunnewell, Missouri died, Monday, June 25, 2012 at his home.
      Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Brother Charles Grubb will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Ashley, Missouri.
      Visitation will be from 2:00 PM Thursday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
      Mr. McChristian was born July 1, 1931, in Japton, Arkansas to Lester and Pearly McConnell McChristian.
      He was married to Frances Jamison on January 28, 1961 in Bethalto, Illinois. She survives.
      Other survivors include 4 children, Catherine Kindle, Fred McChristian, Barbara Lilley (Mike) and Lora White (Leroy), 2 Brothers, Harvel McChristian (Doris) and Charles E. McChristian (Violet), 2 Sisters, Veda Price (Charles) and Retha Potter, 1 Sister in law, Judy McChristian, 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
      He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons; Orval Allen McChristian Jr., Charles Terry Edwards, 3 brothers; Harvey, Floyd and Paul McChristian and 2 sisters; Leta McCormick and Georgia Barker.
      Mr. McChristian retired from Stark Brothers Nursery after 39 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on machinery and gardening. Mr. McChristian was a member of Hunnewell Mission Baptist Church in Hunnewell, Missouri.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
