      June 8, 1929 - July 3, 2015
      Myrtle Beach
      Mrs. June Sorrells McCuiston passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Myrtle Beach, SC on Friday, July 3, 2015 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Lovingly known as "June June" and "June Bug," she will be remembered for her larger-than-life personality, love of celebrations with family and friends and willingness to help others. 
      Mrs. McCuiston was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Richard (Dick) McCuiston. She is survived by her children, Cindy M. Dawsey of Myrtle Beach, SC and R. Mark McCuiston of Winston Salem, NC, and grandchildren: Hannah (Tommy Moore), Holly, Taylor, Marguerite and Bowman. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Benjamin, Eli and Anna Kate, and sister-in-laws, Susie Love (Bob) and Charlotte Sorrells. 
      Mrs. McCuiston graduated from Durham High School and attended a local business college. She was a former secretary at Greensboro College in the School of Education and a member of Guilford Park Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed activities at the Greensboro Elk's Lodge and spending time at Pine Knoll Shores, NC. 
      We wish to thank Beacon Hospice, Melanie O'Toole, RN, and Shana McClain, CNA, as well as June's many caregivers, for their outstanding service. We will be forever grateful for your help and love throughout our journey. 
      A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet, SC from 6-8 p.m. 
      A Celebration of Life will be Friday, July 10, 11:30 a.m., at Guilford Park Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, NC, with visitation 30 minutes prior to service.

      May 6, 1930 - January 15, 2013
      Greensboro, NC
      Mr. Richard Benjamin (Dicky) McCuiston died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Beacon Place after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. Mr. McCuiston is survived by his wife of 55 years, June Sorrells McCuiston, and children Cindy M. Dawsey of Myrtle Beach, SC and R. Mark McCuiston of Garden City, SC. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Hannah Moore (Tommy), Holly Dawsey, Taylor McCuiston, Marguerite Ramm and Bowman McCuiston and 2 great grandsons, Benjamin and Eli, sister, Susie Love (Bob).
      Mr. McCuiston graduated from Greensboro Senior High and attended Bowling Green University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He retired from H.B. Fuller Company of St. Paul, MN. He is a member of Greensboro Elks Lodge 602, a 32 Degree Mason and a member of Oasis Shrine.
      Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2013 at Forbis & Dick Funeral Home, Guilford Chapel, from 5pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beacon Place Hospice, 2502 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
