      The attachment states, "Hill C Daugherty and ____nant McCuistion was married 27 of November 1821 [All other records indicate 1827]" This information is said to have come from the Daugherty - McCuistion Family Bible.

      Found some things at the library.... Wanted you to have a copy.. Have you seen the story about Hill C. Daugherty (husb of Catherine Tennant McCuistion) and the wagon train west to California? From a newspaper article written in 1907 in California.

      Mrs. Polly A. Skaggs, mother of T.C. Skaggs of Fayetteville, died last week in St. Louis where she was making her home with her daughter. Deceased was 84 years of age and for many years was a resident of Madison County. The remains were taken to Huntsville for interment.

      The date of birth is listed as 16 August 1820, however age and year of death indicate year of birth should be 1830.
