      WESLEY - Mary Elizabeth Rose McChristian, 84, of Wesley died Aug. 13, 2010, at the Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice in Fayetteville. She was born July 22, 1926, in Georgetown to Joseph Henry and Patience Lucinda Rodgers Rose. She had retired from Swift and Company in Huntsville in 1990 and then began her employment with the University of Arkansas.
      Survivors include three sons, Jerry McChristian and wife Marilyn of Huntsville, Bill McChristian of Dallas and Gary McChristian and wife Donna of Fayetteville; three daughters, Betty "Gail" Howard and Linda Gifford and husband David, all of Huntsville and Kathy McChristian and husband Wayne Ledbetter of Wesley; 14 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.
      Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Drakes Creek Regular Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Grose Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.
      Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the family present.
