      Sidney Mack Burnett, 98, of Wichita, Kansas, died February 5, 2015 at Lakepoint Nursing and Rehab Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born January 16, 1917 at Ball Creek, Arkansas, the son of John Jerry and Ettie Edens Burnett. He was a retired custodian with USD 259 and a member of the Emporia Avenue Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Juanita Burnett; one son, Coy Burnett, four brothers, Lloyd Burnett, Charlie Burnett, Fred Burnett and Clyde Burnett; one sister, Virgie Elvington and one grandson, Mack Duane Burnett, Jr.
      Survivors include: two sons, Mack D. Burnett and his late wife Judy and Loy R. Burnett and his wife Cheryl; two daughters, Claudia Jean Vaughn and her late husband James and Patsy Ann Mason and her husband Mike; daughter-in-law, Doris Burnett; brother, Dewey Burnett; sisters, Edna Scott, Della Bailey and Zella Davenport; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P. M. Monday, February 9, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Branum, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Ledbetter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, Huntsville, Arkansas.
