Bill served proudly and with distinction in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne during World War II.

A master wordsmith throughout his life, he worked as a journalist and then as an executive in communications areas for Christian Board of Publication, Olin Corp., Decor Magazine, and then as co-founder and partner (with Iona) of MarketArt, which promoted artists and galleries from around the world to U.S markets.
Bill was an avid sailor, an active member of the Dardenne Prairie Presbyterian church, a lover of art and music, and a proud and devoted father and grandfather. He was known for his charisma, creativity, whip-smart intelligence, and diplomacy. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
