    • Gabriel, Thomas and Charles joined their parents before the Civil War in a move to Navarro County, Texas.

      At the age of 76, Gabriel applied for a pension as a result of his service with the Confederate Army. He states in his application he is unable to work as a result of: disability of age, its sequences - general weakness - diabetes- [unable to read] him totally unable to work for his support.
